This piece is lovely, but I feel it needs a deeper meaning. It's beautiful and you pulled it off extremely well. I do understand this may not be possible if it is a commisson, but add something that makes you go, wow! You know what I mean?

I think you've been very original for this piece - the angle is not a common one, though it has been done a few times before, and I love the fact the horse is flying above the clouds, rather than underneath them, and the motion blur gives the sense of movement. You could have used a slightly different angle to make it even more unique but I understand again that it is hard to find stock that would fit. Overall though, I love the simplicity of it.

The technique in this piece is amazing. I love the color change, its done very well, but painting some detail in would go a long way, even just using a soft brush on softlight/overlay where the muscles are. The lighting is also great, the only thing I would suggest is brightening up the edges of the horse where the light would hit. Now for the mane and tail - I feel like the tail was a little more rushed, compared to the mane. The mane is great, but the tail I feel needs a little more detail added into it. It's still an amazing tail, just a little refinement of where the light hits it would be good. I see that it is in shadow, but it would still have some light shining through.
